Collaborations

At Generation Nexus, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. As a youth-led regional network, we recognize that meaningful impact can only be achieved when diverse actors work together across borders, sectors, and generations. That is why we actively partner with organizations that share our vision of empowering young changemakers and shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and peaceful future.

One of our key partners is the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). We work closely with UNDP across Central Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as with the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub, to co-create and implement youth-focused initiatives, campaigns, and events. These collaborations enable us to connect local youth leadership with regional and global policy processes, ensuring that young voices are heard where decisions are made. We also maintain strong working relationships with UNDP country offices across the region, partnering on projects that reflect local priorities while contributing to broader regional and global agendas.

Beyond UNDP, we collaborate with a wide range of international and regional agencies, networks, and institutions. These partnerships allow us to expand our reach, amplify youth advocacy, and provide capacity-building opportunities for young leaders. By working together, we strengthen cross-border cooperation and bring diverse perspectives to the table in areas such as climate action, peacebuilding, sustainability, energy, and governance.

Our engagement has also extended to the COP29 Presidency Youth Climate Champion through the COP29 Youth Delegates Program, where we supported the representation and empowerment of young voices in global climate negotiations. This collaboration underscores our commitment to ensuring that youth are not only present but play a leading role in shaping solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.

Through these partnerships, Generation Nexus continues to serve as a bridge — connecting youth across Europe and Central Asia with global institutions, decision-makers, and opportunities. Together with our collaborators, we are building a generation that is prepared to lead with courage, creativity, and purpose.
